WHAT I DO
I offer freelance styling support for florists, along with prop hire and event styling services for couples, venues, and creative professionals. Whether you're looking to elevate a floral installation, add the finishing touches to a styled shoot, or bring your personal decor vision to life, my tailored services are designed to meet your unique needs.
While I collaborate closely with florists and wedding planners, I am neither a florist nor a planner myself—my expertise lies purely in styling and decorative details that complement and enhance their work. I specialise in unique designs that reflect individual style and taste, ensuring every event looks effortlessly cohesive and beautifully curated. What truly sets my work apart is my curated collection of handpicked vintage and timeless props. These pieces don’t just fill a space—they tell a story, adding layers of meaning, character, and timeless elegance to any celebration.
When florists choose my styling support, they can trust that I’ll handle the details discreetly and professionally, allowing them to focus on their floral artistry while I ensure everything looks seamless and cohesive.
For couples seeking styling assistance, I work alongside your florist or planner to ensure every detail—from vintage candle holders to elegant tablescapes—reflects your love story.
With a flexible approach, I’m available for on-the-day styling, prop hire, and full event styling services. Whatever your role in the event, I’m here to create effortlessly beautiful spaces that feel both personal and unforgettable.
HOW TO BOOK:

MEET DEBORAH
Hello! I’m Deborah
My path to wedding styling has been anything but ordinary. I started out in dance, later working in acting and musical theatre, where I became fascinated by the way spaces, lighting, and atmosphere shape emotion and storytelling. When an injury ended that chapter, I moved into my family’s hairdressing business, working my way from apprentice to manager while studying hospitality and event management. Over time, my love for interiors, floristry, and design naturally led me to weddings—where I found the perfect balance of creativity, detail, and storytelling.
My journey into styling truly began when I worked alongside Janet Wilde of Wilde & Romantic Wedding Styling in the Lake District. When Janet retired, I had the privilege of continuing the beautiful business she built. Today, I offer freelance styling support for florists and planners, as well as bespoke styling and prop hire for couples and creative professionals.
Whether I’m carefully arranging tablescapes, styling a floral installation, or curating decor to bring a vision to life, my focus is always on the finer details that transform a space. I work discreetly behind the scenes, ensuring everything looks seamless, elegant, and true to the overall design.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, considered approach to styling—one that seamlessly enhances your creative vision—I’d love to hear from you.
MY VALUES
Nature is both my muse and my guide. My commitment to the environment shapes everything I do, driving me to operate in harmony with our planet and to continuously seek more sustainable practices. I am committed to supporting the local economy and preserving the rich cultural heritage of our community. My studio is in the Lake District, Cumbria and I collaborate with local independent businesses, florists, artisans and craftspeople whenever I can.
-Most of the items in my hire collection are either vintage, refurbished, or crafted from natural materials. I am mindful of my responsibility to prioritise ethical, sustainable practices and I am committed to partnering only with suppliers who uphold these same values.
-I have minimised the use of single-use plastics where possible.
-I think that recycling is really important and have made it as easy as possible to do this within the studio by providing bins for different recyclable elements.
-Wherever possible I collaborate with florists who source beautiful, seasonal British flowers and have close relationships with a number of like-minded suppliers.
- I never use floral foam, which is made of non-biodegradable micro-plastics.
-Growing plants are frequently used in my work. These are always repurposed by myself and my clients.
